Loud out louD

"In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God."

Psalms 62 : 7

I remember telling Shoon that Saturday was going to be the marathon day.
I’m sorry, but I was mistaken.
Sunday is the real marathon day.
The running around on Sunday trumps any other day of the week by a mile.
On average, I spend more than 12 hours out of the house.
8 hours in church and 4 hours for training and dinner at Kovan.
Good thing the contacts were not worn.

Played keyboard for the first service.
Reuben being the PnW leader this time.
Seriously think I need a break from that role.
Seriously.
I’m getting sick of myself in that role…
Need to recharge for the sake of the children.
Have to grow more before I can really lead the children into that Holy place once more.
On a brighter note, Vanessa helped me to French braid my hair. :D

Second service was headlined by a sermon from Ps Chng.
I fell asleep during the first 15 minutes.
Gaaaaaaah~
-hits head against the wall-
Need to seek penance.
I keep falling asleep.
Regardless of where I sit, who I sit with, who the speaker is, what the topic is or how cold the auditorium is.
I still manage to fall asleep.
Geez… must be something psychological going on… REM anyone?

Had lunch with Winnie, Andrew and Sharon.
Tried out the Penang Char kwey Tiao.
Not bad.
But for that price, I doubt I will be patronizing that store for a while.

CET class was taught by Uncle San Ho.
Very enlightening.
Am glad that I was well enough to attend that class.
Will try my best to apply what I learnt. =]

Attended the worship portion of Youth Service with Sharon.
Her first experience in the revamped service.
So many younger believers and with a very different format in comparison to our normal adult service.
Had to skoot off right after the worship to make sure that I would not be late for training.

A new student just joined the class.
I now have foreign students from France, Brazil, Australia and China.
Very colourful class.
If only I could get a Korean kiddo…
-hysterical laughter-

Monday at work was a breeze even though I had quite a few things to do.
Wasn’t mentally taxing because of my evening activity.
Took TKM out for dinner.
We went to Causeway Point.
First time there for both of us.
Yes, we are that tortoise.
I do plan to make more trips there in the future.
Does help that we have a straight bus to the interchange from outside our place.
Went to Ichiban Boshi and finished off the last portion of my card. Got new a new one in the process as well.
Will have to make another trip there before the end of the month in order to redeem all the items on my card...
-faints-
Walked around a bit before hopping onto the bus and making for another ‘Point’ Mall – Compass Point.
Got some items before walking home.
Good thing too, my face was starting to hurt.
Watched the last episode of Heroes before knocking out cold.

Tuesday was painful towards evening.
Face painful.
Managed to survive cell group though.
The nap I had at Winnie’s house did not help to lessen the pain at all… sianz… need to make sure I get more sleep from now on.
Even resorted to taking a cab home.
The cabbie uncle was coughing so I gave him one of my cough drops.
Gaaah, so many people falling sick.
Who shall we blame this time?

Wednesday at the office was a flurry of activity.
Just think, one week from this day…
-loud psychotic laughter-

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YANG MUI!!!!
-throws confetti all over the place-
Hope you had a wonderfully fun and exciting day!
-throws more confetti all over the place-
I wished her again in the evening after training… now White Tangerine also knows that Yang Mui’s birthday is 234.
-laughs all over the place-

My God has a very funny sense of humour.
Why do I say so?
Because, when I was finally excited about finishing work and taking a holiday away from my schedule, He gave me a new job that will start in May.
Buahahahah~
Thus, I will have less than 4 days worth of rest before my new job starts.
God gives us what we need and not what we want aye?
-does the dance of joy-
The joy of the Lord is my strength!
-bounces all over the room-

HUUUUUU~~~~~

^-^
